Oops I Did It Again Chemistry Lab
Friday – 27th June
And so the 2nd annual #RealTimeChem Calendar week is here. That means that, over again, it's time for the #RealTimeChem awards. This year the iii best tweets of the whole week win a fabulous #RealTimeChem Week 2022 branded mug as a prize, which y'all can find out nearly on the FAQ!
As in the previous year, the awards are ordered into Ag (10 winners), Au (seven winners) and Pt (3 winners). Please note that within these categories they are in no particular society of favoritism. Those Tweeters who have won a Pt will exist the lucky ones with a hazard to win the prizes.
So without further ado, onto the 2022 awards.
Friday. Final day of the working week and the last big day for #RealTimeChem week 2014.I'thousand out of interesting things to say in these opening monologues. I exercise know a joke about…
Perhaps not…onto the Awards for Friday.

My labs e'er preferred drinking glass back TLC plates too. So much ameliorate quality, so much more frustrating to cut every bit Lab Daily illustrates.
Thank god I'k non trying to get a Ph.D. In TLC plate cut... #RealTimeChem #fail http://t.co/q6ioYjwuK2

Young Brando isn't convinced this is a white solid. I'm inclined to concord, simply purples in this year dontcha know?

It's amazing the pictures you tin take with an iPhone these days, fifty-fifty through a microscope! Some close up Crystals past Annie of the Peczuh Enquiry group.
Annie worked out a fashion to have pictures of xtals under the stereo microscope w/her iPhone today. #realtimechem http://t.co/nAaTTHstvS

Joaquin shared a version of the periodic table I've non seen before. It'southward in Czech! I'm non certain they could fit anymore information on it if they tried. Beloved me a periodic table in another language.
A Czech episodic table in United mexican states. Thanks Dr. Jancik! #realtimechem http://t.co/y7w8Dhe8PZ

Marker captures his chemistry in the sunshine. I wish my old labs had had views like that. I wish they'd had admission to sunlight actually…

Crystallization is an art non a science, but I've never quite seen crystal growth similar Logesh found.
At present that's new. #RealTimeChem http://t.co/50RHrwq2CR

These are the chemists of the future! I'm sure once they got those lab coats sorted they whipped up some reactions and all got 100% yield, right Charles?
Shining examples of the future of chemistry! #realtimechem http://t.co/PpO8hL0Wou

There's been a lot of brightly coloured chemistry this #RealTimeChem week and these color tests for resins from Ignacio are yet another example that I totally chose the wrong chemistry for my projects…

Kevin has been tweeting all calendar week about all sorts of toxicology related chemical science so it seems fair to give him a reward for his contributions this week. I'm unremarkably happy to see pictures, but am glad in this case in that location aren't any!
Blood, urine, encephalon, liver, bile, vitreous sense of humour, gastric contents. Just another solar day in the life. I'll spare you the pics. 😉 #realtimechem

I'one thousand always amazed when simply shots of everyday lab chemistry turn out to have a sure beauty to them and who would have thought that opening a jar of two,iv-DNP would be then photogenic? Thanks Jason!
I simply mixed upwards some 2,4-DNP developer and so I can meet my aldehydes on #TLC. #RealTimeChem http://t.co/JHamfEeIp5

I hate selenium chemistry. It'due south toxic, it's stinky, it's just plain nasty. i_lean is braver than I. Some dandy shots of chemistry in activeness too.
Lovely insoluble selenium. Can't tell what smells similar bleach and what smells like Se. #realtimechem http://t.co/1dbaqutavm

Note that these iii lucky people volition exist entered into the last Tweet of the Calendar week competition and are in with the run a risk of winning a #RealTimeChem calendar week 2022 mug!
Ethan breaks out the models and what models they are! I'yard really loving this shot demonstrating crystal packing with crystal assurance. I predict a Pt award. Oh look.

I haven't seen many vines at all this #RealTimeChem week, so it'south nice to see a bit of live action chemistry related stuff. As ever, exercise-information technology-yourself for the win in the lab and Andrea definitely gets a win.

One of the reasons I decided to start #RealTimeChem was I dearest seeing chemistry in activeness, but I also love all the funny things that chemists get up to in the laboratory, specially when nosotros're bored. Heidi demonstrates this very well. Chemist + googly optics + terminal in lab = hilarity.
This is what happens when I'm the last one in lab and I get solitary. #RealTimeChem http://t.co/4ndR3cfvbe
